ATV Instructor Preparation Course

The ATV Instructor Preparation (IP) Course at K-M Scout Ranch is a 4 day, pass / fail course lead by an ASI Chief Instructor. On successful completion of the course, students will be qualified to teach the ATV RiderCourse though ASI. Participants will need to provide their own riding gear: DOT-compliant helmet with either a face shield or riding goggles, full-fingered gloves, over the ankle boots, long sleeved shirt and long, sturdy pants. ATVs are provided for training use during the course. Students must be 21 years of age or older. Minimum course attendance 6 participants, maximum of 8.
Course cost is $1150 (meals and lodging included). A round-trip airport shuttle is available from the Great Falls airport to K-M Scout Ranch for an additional fee of $50. Montana Council participants are eligible for a Council funded scholarship; contact Scott Simpson (below) for more information.

Students must bring a current annual health & medical record (parts A, B & C).
