Winter time camping experience. Bring all your own winter camping clothes. Gear needed for 2 nights, cooking equipment, tents, boots, sleeping bags, coats, hats, mittens, gloves, snow pants, pants, sleeping gear, mess kits, flashlights, head lights, hand warmers, food, water, garbage cans, garbage bags, firewood, axes, knives, saws, lanterns, stoves, propane, whatever is needed to survive 2 nights in the outdoors in the winter time. No prerequisites needed.

Registration Closes: January 15th, 2026

When: January 16-18, 2026

Where: Court Sheriff Campground

Directions:

From Helena, MT: Head east along Co Rd 430/Canyon Ferry Rd from Helena, MT, continue for 29 miles to Court Sheriff Campground. The campground will be on the right.

Or:

Heading east along Highway 12/287, drive north to Spokane Creek Rd and turn right at yellow flashing light. Follow Spokane Creek Rd for 4.6 mi and turn right onto Co Rd 430/Canyon Ferry Rd and continue on to Court Sheriff Campground. The campground will be on the right.

Who: Scouts BSA and Adult Scouters from the Prickly Pear & Vigilante Districts

Cost: $10.00 per Scout, $5 per Adult

Arrival: Anytime after 3pm on Friday
