Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving this is your chance to see what the excitement is all about. Scouts can choose to participate a Discover Scuba Diving class in a pool with instruction and supervision by certified Dive Masters. Scouts will get an easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world, including how SCUBA works and a chance to spend a few minutes underwater experiencing what it means to breathe underwater. This opportunity will occur Sunday night (not as a Merit Badge class), and Scouts who want to participate must bring the 2 attached SCUBA forms.

University faculty and staff will be present to help facilitate the activities associated with STEM Merit Badges and Nova Awards. Our camp goal is to match volunteers with their area of interest and expertise to provide these potential badge offerings:

MERIT BADGES
Art
Chess
Coin Collecting
Electricity
Electronics
Environmental Science
Fire Safety
Geocaching
Geology
Inventing
Medicine
Public Health
