Boy Scout NOVA Day 2018

Let it Grow! NOVA Award

Join the experts at the Saint Louis Science Center, and their STEM spin, to earn your Let it Grow NOVA and Animal Science Merit Badge!

Scouts will spend the day working, creating, and problem solving as they learn about agriculture and plant & animal science! This exclusive experience in agricultural innovation fulfills requirements for the NOVA “Let it Grow!” AND the Animal Science Merit Badge. Scouts will learn about the science behind where our food comes from in the Science Center's GROW and Life Science Labs! This will be an extremely fun and hands-on way to earn both these awards.

Scouts should bring a signed merit badge card. NOVA cards will be distributed. Attending the event does not guarantee that the Scouts will earn the awards.

Prerequisites: Please complete the attached worksheet titled "Animal Science Pre Requisites" before the event, and bring it with you.

Early Bird Price is $25 per Boy Scout. No fees for adults. Please bring a sack lunch. Late Registration Price is $30 per scout starting March 4th.

AG-BOT - Ever hear of an AG-BOT? Technology and farming go hand in hand as you will witness with this specially designed agriculture robot.
