Taste of Venturing (2019)
Event Details
Are your older scouts interested in knowing more about Venturing and experiencing high adventure, or is your crew looking for your next campout, activity, and recruiting event? Bring a friend or a sibling (Venturing Age) and come join us for a weekend of activities and fellowship at Camp Warren Levis, March 29-31, 2019 at Taste of Venturing! The event activities will include:
- Friday night movie
- Leathercrafting
- Crate Stacking/Bouldering
- Rifle and Handgun
- Action Archery
- Paddle Boat races
- LARPing
- GPS Night Hike
- All camp dinner on Saturday night. Main course provided with each unit bringing a side dish large enough to feed their group +1.
- Dessert competition
- Historical re-enactors
- Fishing
- A weekend packed with Fun!
Those in attendance over age 16 who want to fish at the lake will need to get a valid fishing permit. You can find more information here:
Please note, units are responsible for their own tents and food.
