This class will be conducted on Zoom. 

The Zoom link will be sent out prior to the class.

Scouts should plan to have their videos on for the duration of the session so that Counselors can ensure their participation and engagement. Counselors have the discretion to determine if a Scout completed the requirements based on their engagement during the session.

 

1. Requirement 3 Learn about a world event involving issues with neighboring countries and discuss.  Please read this article in advance and be prepared to discuss: The Mideast's Island of Peace is facing an uncertain future.

 2. Requirement 4B Learn about a world issue regarding tariffs and trade.  Please read this article in advance and be prepared to discuss in class:  U.S. Targets $3.1 Billion of EU and U.K. Imports for New Tariffs.
 

3. Requirement 7A Read an article on the US State Department website.  Please read this article in advance and be prepared to discuss in class: 2019 END Wildlife Trafficking Strategic Review - United States Department of State.

4. Requirement 7B read an article about human rights.  Please read this article in advance and be prepared to discuss in class: Independent UN rights experts call for decisive measures to protect ‘fundamental freedoms’ in China.
