NRA-NMLRA Muzzleloading Instructor Training Weekend

May 30 - June 1, 2025, at Beaumont Scout Reservation

This course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot muzzleloaders. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, sitting, and standing positions; cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. All firearms and ammunition will be provided for this course.

Students must attend all three days of the course.  The NRA-NMLRA Basic Muzzleloading Shooting Course and NRA-NMLRA Muzzleloading Instructor Course will all be covered during the weekend. This will be THREE FULL days of training.

The BASIC INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE is a prerequisite for this weekend.

The course will be held in the Nagel Rec Hall at Beaumont.  Meals will be provided.

Cost:  $250

There is a credentialing fee with the NRA required for a 2-year term (NRA Membership is NOT required)
