Who’s ready to go to Camp?!

Join us for the Boone Trails and Keystone 2021 Spring Camporee/Klondike, “Scouting Northwest.”  The Spring Camporee/Klondike event will be held on April 24 at Beaumont Scout Reservation, Shippey Field. 

Our event will include Shooting Sports, Nature, Small Games, Rank Activities, First Aid and the Klondike Derby.  There will also be the opportunity to earn a merit badge in Emergency Preparedness or Game Design, or do a 5-mile hike. The merit badges and 5-mile hike are completely optional and will take much of the day, for those Scouts who want to earn them. Also, Scouts wishing to do a merit badge or go on the hike can only choose one of the oportunities.  See the schedule in the manual for more detail.   

For Webelos, there will be an opportunity to earn a STEM Nova plus other fun scout activities. 

Participants at Spring Camporee/Klondike will be organized into groups that rotate through stations and attendance will be limited at this event to promote social distancing.  Please sign up early to reserve your spot at the event.  Much more information about the event can be found in the Spring Klondike manual on the Boone Trails District page and as an attachment on this page.

Boone Trails Camping:  To reserve your Troop's camping spot, you can either go through the Beaumont reservation portal and reserve a campsite from what is available, or you can contact Rick Hammond at rhammond@budrovich.com to reserve your space in the camporee fields adjacent to Shippey. Camping is $4 per person. 

Keystone Camping:  To reserve your Troop's camping spot, you can either go through the Beaumont reservation portal and reserve a campsite from what is available, or you can contact John Ebert at theebert6@juno.com to reserve your space on Shippey.
