Join us for the viewing of Disney’s “Up” at Beaumont Scout Reservation July 24th, 25th and 26th 2020!

Arrival time 7:30PM – 8:30PM

Movie will start at sunset, between 8:30PM-9PM

Movie length: 1 hour 36 minutes

Location: Parade field by the Emerson Center. Parking will be at Emerson and the gravel lot of Camp May.

Cost: $20 per family/household

Overview:

Each family will be assigned a 12 foot by 12 foot square where they can set up blankets, chairs, pillows, etc.! Each square will be assigned a number and you will be sent that square number prior to the event so there will be contactless check-in!

Each square will be at least 10 feet apart from each other.
The square will be indicated with chalk spray on the grass.
You will also be emailed a map of the square numbers prior to the start of the event.

Everyone is asked to pre-screen their health before arriving. Under no circumstances may you attend the event if you feel sick, have a cough, or fever.
Masks are required when walking to the restrooms and during arrival and departure.

You do not need to wear a mask when you are inside your square.

Families will be assigned a specific restroom (port-a-potty), based on their square number, in order to eliminate as much cross exposure.

Reserve pizzas, sodas, candy, and TED DREWES before the event! And then enjoy delivery to your square during the start of the movie!

All trading post purchases must be made at least 5 days prior to the start of the event. Please email Elizabeth.belter@scouting.org if you need to make changes or add any items to your reservation.
Those who will be delivering food will be pre-screened for fever and health, they will be wearing masks, and gloves.
Food delivery will occur between the time of your arrival and 9:30PM.

Menu:
$10 per pizza (large: cheese, sausage, and pepperoni)
$2 per 20 oz. soda (Coke, Diet Coke, Dasani Water, Sprite, Mr. Pipp, Power Aid, Mellow Yellow)
$8 per family candy bucket (selection of misc. sweet, sour and chocolate candies)
$4 per Ted Drewes Ice Cream, mini concrete (flavors: vanilla, chocolate and strawberry)

Other things to know:

Reserve your spot today! Spots are limited to ensure safe and healthy event practices.
A family is defined as those who live in your household only.
Families must remain in their square during the duration of the event. You may not loiter/socialize/mingle between squares. You may walk to and from your car and/or restroom but must wear a mask when doing so.
There will be no indoor access at this event.
If you know your square number, you do not need to register at the event. You will be virtually checked in!

There will be a registration table, if needed, outside of the Emerson Center.

All event staff and volunteers will be pre-screened for health and have their temperature taken.

Inclement weather policy:

If there is inclement weather, the event will be canceled 2 hours prior to the event. An email will be sent out in addition to posting on the website and Facebook.
Light rain will not be considered inclement weather.
In the event of inclement weather, families/groups will be able to movie their registration to another night, another Scouting event, or reimbursed for their registration.
