Scouting for Food 2020 will take place on Saturday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All Scouts who participate will get a custom 2020 Scouting for Food Patch.

This will be at storefronts in St. Joseph and across the Council, wherever there is interest and commitment for units or Scouts to volunteer at storefronts. If your Scouts would like to commit to a particular location, please sign them up for the desired shifts (called "classes" on the online registration) to reserve it. Adults do not register for this project, just the youth, however 2 or more adult leaders from the unit are required for each shift that youth work. 

The St. Joseph food donations will be picked up by Second Harvest trucks directly from the storefronts and taken directly to the food bank. Units in outlying locations (everywhere outside of the St. Joseph city limits) will need to coordinate with local food pantries to donate the food to the pantry. 

Second Harvest will secure the details and colleciton bins/boxes with each store that Scouts sign up to work.
