Lewis and Clark District Fall Camporee 2020

"Aliens:  I Want to Believe"

When:  Friday, September 25 at 6 p.m. through Sunday, September 27 at 9 a.m. (groups not wanting to camp are welcome to join in for Saturday only, but will be same cost) 

Where:  Camp Kanza (Google Maps "Boy Scouts Camp Kanza)... just south of Atchison, KS on 266th Road just East of Old 73

For Whom:  All Scouts BSA and Cub Scouts, with adequate adult leadership from a unit/family, from any district, are invited! 

Program Offerings: 

• Friday Night:
  • Frisbie Golf
  • Astronomy
     
• Saturday:
  • Drones
  • Cub-Scout specific Geocache course
  • learn how to broadcast and talk on the radio
  • Rockets
  • Baden Powell games
  • Dutch Oven cookoff (will send details of this to registered units)
  • Campfire 
  • includes a patch
     
• port-a-potties on site 
• COVID-19 precautions will be in effect including hand sanitizer, and social distancing as much as is practical 
  • participants are required to bring the attached COVID-19 and Waiver forms signed to the event
• units bring their own food (except for further instructions to be sent in regards to the Saturday night dutch oven cookoff)
