Order of the Arrow Ordeal Induction
Camp Barman
April 12-13, 2024
The Order of the Arrow Ordeal Induction weekend will be held at Camp Barman Friday, April 12 and Saturday April 13th. Camping is available for those wanting to stay through Sunday, April 14th.
Cost:
Ordeal rate is $40, which includes food, book, sash, and patch.
Brotherhood rate is $25, which includes sash and food.
General member rate is $15.
Schedule:
Friday, April 12th.
6:00 pm -Gates open to setup camps.
8:00 pm -Ceremonies Start
10:00 pm -Cracker barrel with root bear floats
11:00 pm -Lights out
Saturday, April 13th
7:00 am -Reveille
7:00 am-8:00 am -breakfast (cereal and breakfast quick grabs)
8:30 am -Adopt A Highway
9:30 am -Going to Camp Geiger. Bring work gloves, work clothes, closed toed shoes and water bottle.
10:00 am -Start Camp Geiger service projects
11:30 am-12:30 am -Lunch in one of the outdoor pavillions.
12:30 am-4:00 pm -Service projects
4:00 pm - Head back to Camp Barman
4:15 pm - 5:30 pm -Free time and games, clean up any areas that need it.
5:30 pm - 6:45 pm -Supper
6:45 pm -Dress for Ordeal
7:00 pm -Ordeal ceremony
7:45 pm -Question and answer session with officers.
815 pm -Brotherhood walk
8:45 pm -Brotherhood ceremony
9:45 pm -cracker barrel
10:30 pm -clean up Camp Barman
11:00 pm -light out if camping or departure from Camp Barman.
Meals:
Friday night root bear floats and cookies
Saturday
Breakfast: cereal, hard boiled eggs, fruit juice, milk and coffee
Lunch: cold cuts, chips, cookies, bottled water
Supper: spaghetti with all the fixings
Class A and sash should be worn for ceremonies
