The Lewis and Clark District of the Pony Express Council is excited to be hosting the 2020 Missouri Western State University Merit Badge College on Saturday, March 14. The cost to attend is $20 per Scout and $8 per adult, and this includes all program supplies, a patch, and lunch provided in the Blum Student Union cafeteria.  

Registration has been extended to run through 2/24. 

The following merit badges are being taught. Each Scout may register for 1 AM class and 1 PM class, and unless otherwise noted each merit badge is being taught once in the morning and then once in the afternoon.

  • Emergency Preparedness (all day class)
  • Engineering
  • Environmental Science (all day class)

  • Fingerprinting (only available in the morning)
  • Fire Safety
  • First Aid (all day class)
  • Law
  • Personal Fitness
  • Personal Management (all day class)
  • Traffic Safety (only available in the afternoon)
     

Here is the list of suggested prerequisites for each merit badge. Please encourage your Scouts to visit with the counselors while in class to verify which requirements are or are not completed. In some cases it may be possible that the Scouts complete some of these during class, however we want to make sure everyone is prepared in case there isn't time to get to everything:
