University of Scouting is a hands on learning experience that provides a wide range of training opportunities, shared experiences, and knowledge suitable for the best of our Scout leadership.   Our sessions cover traditional topics that supplement and expand upon the basic Cub and Scouts, BSA training programs.  We offer the non-traditional and often unexpected subjects taught by Scouters with specialized skills and knowledge.  Explore the courses we have to offer and take this unique opportunity to broaden your skills.  We provide a full day of training and a far greater chance to network than may be available within your home units and districts. 

The 2024 University of Scouting event provides course offerings in three colleges. Two colleges are devoted to the major Scouting programs – Cub Scouts and Scouting America. The General Studies College offers classes of interest to Scouters across all programs.

We want to welcome all adults registered with Scouting America to take advantage of this training opportunity. Participation is not dependent on holding a scouting position. New parents, grandparents, volunteers, and anyone who is new to the program is welcome to attend.
