John Perry is the head football coach at Nixa High School in Nixa, MO In 6 seasons he has led Nixa to a record of 64-11 with 4 COC Championships, 3 District Championships and two Class 6 State Runner-Ups. He has been named the COC coach of the year 4 times. He was selected to coach in the Under Armour all American game this past January. He coached the #1 player in America and 2025 National Gatorade Player of the Year,  Jackson Cantwell. John is a certified Mental Performance Coach, as well as, the host of The Never Stop Getting Better Podcast. With a wealth of experience, John has become a sought-after speaker, sharing his insights and expertise at a diverse range of events. He also teaches Mental Fitness & Leadership Skills to businesses throughout Springfield, Mo and was recently named the 2025 Kathy Whitworth Service to Education Award winner. He serves on the board of advisors for the Chuck Wiley Foundation and the Nixa Education Foundation.
