Both classes will be offered over the weekend. You may sign up for one or both of the classes as necessary. (Additional classes will be coming in the next few months; however, these 2 classes are required to get certified)

In order to take your Scouts BSA members or Venturers shooting, in addition to instructor(s), you will need NRA certified Range Safety Officer(s). RSOs can also run a Chalkball range. 

"The NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) program was developed in response to the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer certification. To become a NRA Range Safety Officer, you must pass the RSO course and demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations". To become a RSO

• Must be 21+ Years old.
• Demonstrate a solid background in firearm safety.
• Satisfactorily complete the NRA RSO Course and test (Score of 90 or better)

You will provide your own food and sleeping accommodations. Cots are available to be pitched in the fishing lodge both Friday night and Saturday night. There is a cook stove, oven, refrigerator and microwave available for use. There will be a coffee pot!! 

We will need to know if you plan to stay overnight so arrangments can be set up.
