Rendezvous XXXI - Activities

Session Times are 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

2. Camp Cookie’s SPAM Cook-Off

The great SPAM cook-off has been a regular event at Rendezvous

Submissions are judged by a panel of hungry Rendezvous staff and the winning dish and its creator are recognized at closing campfire with the coveted “Spam Plaque”!

Bring your entry to the staff kitchen at BEFORE 4PM enter the competition.

3. Trading Blankets 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Only
4. Fire Making –

• Fire Piston Flint & Steel
• Burning Lens Bow Drill
• Fire Plow Steel Sparker
• Steel Wool Hand Drill
• Coke Can & Chocolate
• Learn how to make “char cloth” and identify many good types of tinder that you see every day.
• Never be stranded without fire again.

9. Order of the Arrow Callout
Call-out follows Closing Campfire.

The Order of the Arrow Call-out will be held as the last event of the closing campfire. Scouts who have been elected as candidates by their units will be recognized and escorted to the center of the ceremonial fire ring.

Following call-out candidates will be lead to a private location for additional ceremony and instruction. Pick up your unit's call out tags at the OA table at Registration.

Please encourage any OA members of your unit to bring their sash and participate as runners in the ceremony.

Elections must be held prior to April 1, 2026.
