2026 Fall Parent & Pal Cub Scout Campout
Ready, Set, RESCUE!

Join us October 2–4 at Camp Childress for an exciting weekend of adventure where Cub Scouts and their families become everyday heroes!

This year's Ready, Set, RESCUE! theme introduces Scouts to the skills and people who help keep our communities safe. Families will participate in hands-on activities focused on first aid, emergency preparedness, and lifesaving skills, while learning how to respond confidently in everyday situations.

Throughout the weekend, local emergency management professionals and first responders will present live demonstrations, giving Scouts an up-close look at rescue equipment, emergency response techniques, and the important work they do to protect our communities.

Whether you're bandaging a "boo-boo," learning how to respond in an emergency, or watching exciting rescue demonstrations, this weekend promises fun, learning, and memorable family experiences.

EARLY BIRD PRICING

Early bird sign-up due by Tuesday, 11:59 pm September 15th 

$30 Early Bird pricing for each Cub Scout/Sibling Participant – {$40 Regular Pricing}

$20 Early Bird pricing for each Adult participant – {$30 Regular Pricing}

All registered participants get a patch

ADDITIONAL INFO

Health Forms: MUST provide Health Form Parts A & B completed for each registered participant.

What is included with Parent-N-Pal: All program supplies, meals, Parent-n-Pal patch for all registered participants and a full weekend of activities.

Check-in: We would prefer the Cubmaster or Asst. to do check-in with a roster. Cubmasters will be given patches at check-in. 

Parking: Please arrive to camp following signs. You will sign-in at the Check-In Canopy. A map will be handed out to all participants, showing parking and campsite locations, as well as the program locations for the weekend. For safety, make sure and park your vehicle in the designated parking area for the duration of camp.
