Camp's Got Talent - Spring Cub O'Ree

The Ozark Howler District invites all Lions through Arrow of Light (AOL) Scouts to the Spring Cub O’Ree at Camp Arrowhead. This year’s theme, "Camp's Got Talent," is an action-packed weekend where Scouts showcase their skills across various talent-themed stations.

Event Details:

Dates: April 17-19, 2026

Location: Camp Arrowhead

Audience: Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts

Program Highlights:

This event features five talent-themed stations designed to challenge Scouts and let their skills shine:

The Artisan's Stage: Test your creativity at the arts and crafts station with provided art kits.

The Golden Buzzer Fishing Hole: Showcase your angling patience and technique.

The Sharpshooter Showcase: Take aim with archery and tomahawks.

The All-Star Arena: Compete in basketball, horseshoes, chess, and beach volleyball.

The MasterChef Kitchen: Demonstrate your outdoor cooking abilities.

Schedule of Events:

Check-in: Friday, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM & Saturday, 8:00 AM

Check out: 10 am Sunday Morning (Please be sure your camp is clean and left as it was.)

Note: All participants must check in and receive a wristband, which is required for the duration of the event. All participants must check out before departure.

Saturday Morning Assembly: 9:00 AM at the Mess Hall (Opening Ceremony, Flags, Role Call)

Station Rotations: 9:45 AM - 4:30 PM

Includes a one-hour break for lunch and 10-minute travel time between stations.

Dinner: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Camp's Got Talent Show: 6:30 PM at the Council Ring (weather permitting)

Camp's Got Talent Show:

Scouts are invited to perform a 1-to 5-minute talent for a chance to win prizes.  Sign-ups are available during check-in. Trophies will be awarded to the top three acts in each division:

Division 1 Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

Divsion 2- 3rd Grade - 5th Grade

Food: All participants and units are responsible for providing their own food for the entire weekend.

Camping: Overnight camping is encouraged but not required for participation.

Volunteers: We are seeking volunteers for event staff and talent show judges. Your assistance is critical to the event's success.

Prepare for a weekend of skill, competition, and fun. We look forward to seeing the incredible talent within our district.
