Cost: Early Bird $20 by April 16th or $30 After – Includes Saturday lunch, dinner. /Sunday Breakfast. And course materials
This training is mandatory for Units that do overnight camping.
What is IOLS/BALOO training?
IOLS/BALOO are introductions to outdoor leadership skills. It’s designed to introduce Scout leaders to the opportunities for overnight camping. This is an energetic training that will cover everything you need to know to plan and run an overnight campout. It’s more than just camping—it includes ideas for outdoor activities, games and ceremonies, information on selecting and using camping equipment, how to run a campfire program, and hands-on cooking demonstrations! In short, everything you need to know to make your unit overnighter a fun, successful event!

- Cubmasters, Scoutmasters, and their assistants
- Den Leaders, Committee Members
- Any insterested adult leader
DETAILS:
When: Saturday, April 26th (Class starts 8:00AM) through Sunday April 27th (training complete by Sunday Afternoon)
Where: Camp Arrowhead, Marshfield. Old Pioneer Campsite
