We would like to invite your unit to participate in our 11th annual Canoe Trip from 16-18 Aug 2024

WHO: All Scouts 11 years or older and Leaders. Wah Sha She Lodge and Sipo Aney Chapter are hoisting a fun weekend with the highlight being an 8-mile canoe trip.

WHAT: Weekend of Camping, a Canoe Trip, BBQ, and a patch.   This is a unit activity, but Sipo Aney will provide all your on-site planning, coordination, logistics for the canoe trip and camping so your unit can have fun. We provide a lunch when you come off the river on Saturday. Units plan all other meals.

WHERE: Jadwin Canoe Rental approximately 13 miles south of Salem

Cost is $40 per person. Cost includes canoe rental, up to two nights of camping, Saturday lunch, and a patch. Cash on-site is preferred, and we can accept checks. Request preregistration for planning purposes only. ( Only have 125 Canoes)

Plan this activity as your own and let us do all your on-site planning. Units maintain leadership and Guide to Safe Scouting responsibilities.

If you would like to bring family members it’s up to your unit, but you must follow Scouting Guidelines. Units are encouraged to use the canoe trip as a unit recruitment event.
