A one-day course designed to improve teaching and presentation skills.                   

Open to ALL.

Required training for Wood Badge Staff.

The Craft of Training (Formerly Trainer's EDGE is the required train-the-trainer course for Wood Badge Staff Only practice can polish skills, and this course is intended to "train the trainer" on behaviors and resources while offering experiences in methods and media.

**** PRECOURSE PREPARATION: You must prepare a 5-10 minute presentation on a topic from any BSA Material.  Your presentation should allow you to demonstrate the skills of a trainer.  You will receive constructive feedback on your presentation from the other participants.

WHO SHOULD COME?

• Youth Trainers for NYLT, Venturing, Order of the Arrow, Summer Camp Staff. (Must be 14 or Older)
• Pack Trainers and Den Chiefs
• Current or new District Trainers in all Scouting Programs
• Council Trainers for NYLT, Youth Protection, University of Scouting
• Commissioners - All unit, district, assistant district, Council, Assistant Council and Roundtable Commissioners
• ANYONE in Scouting who is interested and wants to learn to communicate ideas better!
