A Great Scouting Year Starts at Klondike!

Bring your Troop for the adventure of a lifetime as we journey through the ages, surviving and thriving along the way! While we’ll be based at Bartle Scout Reservation, your Unit will travel through time - from the Stone Age to modernity - learning essential survival skills in every era.

This year’s Klondike Derby features hands-on activities and challenges that Scouts don’t typically encounter. Each event is designed to strengthen patrol teamwork, build practical skills, and spark fellowship across all ages and ranks.

Whether your Scout just crossed over or is a seasoned veteran, there’s something here to test their mettle. It’s time to prove your salt against time!

Event Highlights
Paintball Shooting – Are you a true shot? Survive the Stone Age with precision!
Two-Man Log Sawing – Cut fast, build faster. Shelter starts with teamwork.
Radio Communication – Send a signal for help across the airwaves. Will anyone answer?
Flint Knapping – Learn ancient fire-starting techniques and race to light your flame.
Signaling – Master rescue signals across eras and escape the past!
Klondike Derby Race – Which Troop or Patrol will rise to the challenge and win it all?

Youth Registration:
Early Bird $15 ( by 11:59 pm January 7 th)
Regular: $30 (After January 7 th — (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Adult Registration: $10 (Anytime)
When: Friday, February 13th, 2026 (Check-in: 7:00–10:00 PM CT) - Saturday, February 14th, 2026 (Check-out by 10:00 PM)
