We are hosting our first ever Sustainability Summit: Where Scouts Learn to Protect Tomorrow, and we would love to see your unit there.

This one-day event is designed to give Scouts meaningful, hands-on experiences in conservation and environmental stewardship while working toward advancement in up to two merit badges. We are especially excited to welcome educators from the Lamar Soil and Water Conservation District, who will be providing expert instruction and real-world insight into responsible resource management.

In addition, we are offering a special Media Literacy leadership session taught by the Director of Media and Communication at USM . While not a merit badge, this class is designed to build critical thinking and communication skills and will serve as a preview of our Communication Day at the college this fall. Scouts can register individually or as a group with their Troop.
