Grab your flannel and a hard hat! Lumberjack Days is just around the corner!  

What is Lumberjack Days?  

It’s a council-wide service day held at Gamehaven Scout Camp, organized by the Blue Ox Lodge. Troops are encouraged to attend and help clean up camp for the coming year. It is an excellent opportunity to get service and conservation hours. Projects this year include cleaning up campsites, wood splitting, and building firewood holders for all of the main camp side campsites. 

When/where is Lumberjack Days?  

March 15th, 8 to 3 pm at Gamehaven Scout Camp. A free lunch is provided for all volunteers.  

What should I bring? 

Bring a pair of work gloves and safety glasses, if you have them. Dress appropriately for the weather, and ensure you have proper footwear (no open-toed, Dudes, Crocs, etc.)

Interested in donating? 

We are in need of treated 2x4 lumber, at least 4’ in length. You can also make a donation while registering for this event.

HEALTH FORMS ARE REQUIRED

Health forms will be required in order to attend this event, due to the physical nature of the work. Please make sure to complete one and bring it with you to the event.
