BALOO TRAINING FOR CUB SCOUT LEADERS

BALOO (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation) is comprised of an online prerequisite course to cover BSA national Cub Scout camping program guidelines and goals, followed by in person training. The in person training is an overnight camping trip with Baloo staff where Scouters will get a chance to play games. Learn what gear to take when camping with Cubs, and build their traditional Scouting skills like knots, map and compass, first aid, hiking, campfires and more. The course is taught by instructors who have a passion for their subjects. Along the way you will connect with other Cub Scout leaders and share wisdom, laughter. And a beautiful weekend in the Minnesota woods.

Registration Due: 11:59pm on April 23rd

FEE: $35 per person, Includes Lunch and Dinner Saturday, breakfast Sunday, as well as all training materials.

Training will be from 7:30 am 5/2/26 to noon 5/3/26

LOCATION: Gamehaven Scout Camp - Using Deer Lodge and Turkey Ridge campsite.
