Attention Cub Scouts! 

Do you have what it takes? Join Pine Tree in our annual, District Pinewood Derby, championship fun run on Saturday, March 21st at Lord of Life Lutheran Church (6190 Fairview Rd, Baxter). 

Race is FREE for all pre-registered Scouts - registration closes Thursday, March 12th at 4:30pm

$5.00, late, registation at the door for all registered Scouts

$10.00 registration for all non-scouters cars (brothers, sisters, cousins, etc.) (This fee is waived if you sign up for Scouts and pay the membership fee)

Registration starts: 10-10:30am

Rules/Pledge/Conduct: 10:45am

Race Starts: 11:00am

Standard Pinewood Derby rules are in affect for ALL cars. Each car must weigh at most 5 ounces or 141.75 grams. ANYTHING added to increase the weight must be FIXED in place—no moving weights or mercury allowed. Overweight cars will not race—space and tools will be available for last minute adjustments. Cars will be inspected and weight taken at the check-in and will not be handled by participants after check-in.

The car cannot exceed 7 inches long and 2-3/4 inches wide. The car must have a 3/8-inch clearance height between the bottom of the car body and the bottom of the tires to allow for the track.

BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR! 'The Outlaw Class" - $10.00 registration fee (online or at door)

This class is designed for the older scouts…and even Dad and Mom. No design rules for these cars. These cars just need to fit on the track and not contain liquids (fuel, weights), compressed gasses or any explosive fuels (gun powder, rocket engines). Race officials maintain the right to exclude any car that they feel is unsafe or dangerous.
