Gateway District Pinewood Derby

2025 GATEWAY DISTRICT PINEWOOD DERBY RACE

Saturday, March 15th, 2025

Check-in/Weigh-in – 1:30pm

Race Time – starts at 2pm

Cost- $8.00/ car

Where: MN Propane Association  12475 273rd Ave NW  Zimmerman, MN  55398 

The Top 3 Scouts from each age group from every Pack - Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos and Arrow of Light. Arrow of Light Den will have its own race!

Registration closes at 8:00 PM on March 13th, there will be no late registrations and walk in registration will not be accepted.

The check-in, inspection and weigh-in is from 1:30pm to 2:00pm. We need to have all Scouts registered on time because everything is done electronically and late entries will not be entered.

Flags will start promptly at 2pm with the first race immediately following.  

All races will be run on a track with an electronic timer.  Places will be determined by the fastest speed of all heats.  Each car will race on each lane of the track once. 

Cars will need to follow BSA's Pinewood Derby Car Rules found at:  https://www.scoutshop.org/pwd-rules

Scouts are encouraged to be in uniform.  

A registration fee of $8.00 per car will be charged which will help cover expenses for trophies, certificates, and awards.

If mailing unit payment, or dropping off in Sartell, please include the registration confirmation (printed) and bring a check of the exact amount.

All participants must be registration by  8:00 PM on March 13th, so the names can be entered into the program and the race will be able to start on time

Bring the family along and cheer on your scouts!
