Ripley Rendezvous 2018  "SCOUT TREK" will be held at the Camp Ripley Army National Guard Training Facility, Camp Ripley, MN. April 27th -29th, 2018.  This spring time event is truly a unique opportunity to utilize the training facility's ranges and buildings in presenting two distinct levels of out of this world programs.

Boldly Go Where No Scout Has Gone Before.

The Adventure Program (scouts age 10 and up) will be conducted at the ranges for everyone that enjoys shooting sports.  Scouts will be using shot guns, .22 rifles, 50 cal. black powder inlines, archery; all skills that need a great deal of concentration to perform at your best.

New addition to the adventure program this year:

The Patrol Padlock Puzzler or "PPP Ripley"

This year’s adventure program has patrols encountering 6 challenges that will have them use what they know about scouting principals to solve various puzzles.   They will need to use teamwork to resolve each station’s challenge.  Success at each stations will allow them to gather clues that will help them resolve a master puzzle.  To be successful, scouts should have good knowledge of the scout oath, law, motto, slogan, parts of the scout badge and outdoor code. They should be familiar with compass headings, shear lashing and knots.  Scouts should bring a small backpack to the Adventure program area with a water bottle, sun screen, scout handbook, rain gear and a compass.

The Scout Ops is an Extreme (scouts age 13 and up) program for the older Boy Scouts and Venturers, who are ready for a more rigorous program using advanced physical and mental trials that go along with team work and goal accomplishment.  The personal satisfaction of knowing you did your best, no matter the outcome is something to be proud of. This older Scout program will have several physical and mental challenges for participants, and hands-on activities. Rappelling, Leader Reaction Course, GA GA pit and 9 Ball.  New in this area is the Super Troop TREK Challenge  competition.

Registration is

  • $50 from April 1 - April 22 at 11:59 PM.

Fees include program, meals, and T-building barracks housing.
