Intro to Outdoor Leader Skills Training

When:  October 13-14, 2017

             Check-in:  6:30 PM on Friday at the Admin building.

             Check-out:  Approx. 3:30 PM on Saturday.

Where:  Parker Scout Camp, on North Long Lake

              21930 Paradise Dr., Nisswa, MN

The Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills course is a hands-on program that will give adult leaders a practical introduction to a boy-led troop. In addition, the skills, teaching methods, and learning games will help provide Scouters with increased confidence in taking Scouts outdoors safely.


This training is only an introduction to outdoor leader skills. Please complete your Leader Specific training online before the course to help you better understand this course and be considered 100% trained for the Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster positions.


Open to All:  Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Webelos Den Leaders, Committee Members, and Parents.

Cost:  $25 per person.

Be Prepared:  Participants will be camping outdoors. Prepare for rain or shine!
