Cub Scouts Shooting Sports

Get it while the getting's good!  With the change in the Cub Scout program beginning in June, this Shooting Sports Event is the last chance to earn the current emblem and pins!  Don't miss out!

To a Cub Scout, shooting BB Gun, Arrows and Sling Shot are the best things ever.  It's the reason some even join Scouting!

At this event, your Scouts will learn some history about the sport, will be taught safety and proper handling of the BB Guns, Bows/Arrows and Sling Shots, and will learn the proper shooting stances and finger placements.  Then they will have ample time to practice target shooting.

Note:  Due to National BSA policy, youth in kindergarten will not be able to shoot at the BB Gun range.  They will, however, participate at the sling shot range and archery range.

Every Cub Scouts must have a parent with them (one parent per family) and even though the adults are free they still must register.  Each shooter must also have a Parent Permission Form submitted.

Everything is more fun with a friend - so why not bring them along?  This is the perfect time to invite your best buddy!  Cost for them is $15, they must be accompanied by a parent and currently be in grades K-5.  What a fun way to spend Saturday morning.

This event is the same program regardless of location so please choose the date and location that works best for your schedule.

Registration is open until Sunday, April 28, 2024, for the Norseland location and until Sunday, May 5, 2024, for the Cedar Point location.
