Central Minnesota Council is proud to coordinate a Powderhorn Training.  

The Powder Horn course is a hand on program designed to help introduce and give leaders the contacts and tools necessary for outdoor and/or high adventure activities of a fun and more challenging nature.

Some session options may include expedition planning, skiing, backpacking, curling, emergency preparedness, ice fishing, orienteering, search & rescue, Wilderness First Aid and Survival, Shooting Sports and much more!

Cost for the training is $150 per person if registered by December 1, 2022.  After that date the fee will become $175.

This class is limited to 25 adults and 10 youth leaders.
