Two Sessions 9-11am or 1-3pm
Kiwanis Mountain Biking Trail, North Mankato
Open to all Scouts BSA, limit of 6 participants per session
No cost but registration required

Mountain Biking is extreme riding!  Join us on Saturday, October 1, 2022, to  learn the skills necessary for this sport.  We are offering an introduction to Mountain Biking at the Kiwanis Mountain Biking Trail located just north of the Highway 169/14 intersection (across the street from Happy Chef in North Mankato). Please meet at the Kiwanis Recreation Area/Park across the street from Happy Chef.

We will have two sessions: 9-11am and 1-3pm.

Due to the nature of this class, it is limited to 6 participants in each session, and you must be a Scout BSA.

Each participant must bring their own mountain bike/hybrid bike, helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads.  It is also recommended each participant bring a water bottle (or two) and snacks.

For those without a bike, rentals are available through Nicollet Bike and Ski Shop, Fun Bike Rides, and Key City Bike.  Or, Google Mankato Mountain Bike Rental for more information.

Each participant must have a health form, sections A, B and C (the same health form from summer camp is ok).

Registration is open until Thursday, September 29, 2022
