Klondike 2022 "The Oregon Trail"

Does your "family" have what it takes to brave the wilds and navigate the "Oregon Trail" to get your wagon (aka sled) to Oregon City, Oregon?  Will the weather be on your side?  Will you choose the right path?  Will anyone die of dysentery?

Join us as we transform Cedar Point Camp into the an interactive experience full of fun and adventure.  Together we'll travel the trail, foraging for food, fording the rivers, and facing first aid challenges to reach the west coast without losing anyone.  Do you have what it takes to be an early settler of the west?

Klondike 2022 is open to Scouts BSA and 5th grade AOls.  There will be a unique AOL trek for all AOL participants. 

This event is held outdoors so plan to dress foe the weather - cold weather gear is required for all participation.  Cold weather gear includes coat, hat, mitten/gloves, boots, scarf and multiple layers of clothes.

The Oregon Trail event is one day.  If your unit would like to camp overnight for an additional fee, please contact Liz Paul at 507-387-0293 or elizabeth.paul@scouting.org.

Cost to attend this event is $30 per youth and $5 for adults.  The fee includes all meals on Saturday and program materials.  All persons on property must have an AB Health Form.

Registration is open until Wednesday, February 2, 2022.  After this date you may still attend but must contact Liz Paul to register.
