Fishing is great in Minnesota year round!  Join us on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Edge Water Park in Albert Lea (1600 Edgewater Drive) for an afternoon of ice fishing beginning at 1pm.  The event lasts until 4pm but you are welcome to stay a late as you would like.

There is no cost for this event but adults who plan to fish need to have a current Minnesota Fishing License.  All families must register using the button below.

Families should bring their own ice fishing gear if you have it.  If not, we can provide some for you.  You may also want to bring along something to sit on and your own water.  If you have additional ice fishing gear we can also use extra for sharing.  

We will be outdoors the entire time so please dress for the day on the ice.  This means hat, glove/mittens, snow pants, boots, and scarves.  For clothing please dress in layers and wear warm socks.

There will be hot cocoa and coffee available.
