Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is Scouting America's national training program to prepare Cub Scout leaders to take their Cub Scout packs overnight camping. Packs must have a BALOO trained leader present on all overnight campouts. The course also provides a good grounding in Scouting’s Outdoor Program, and helps leaders leverage the Outdoor Program to make their packs stronger and more resilient.
