Some are just beginning to step into the role of volunteer, while others are pros, offering hours upon hours of their services. Join us on Sunday, April 13, 2025, as we celebrate some very deserving volunteers. We'll have ice cream sundaes, share some great stories, and celebrate all that being a volunteer means.
Silver Beaver
Receiving this year's Silver Beaver Award, the highest award bestowed upon a volunteer at a council level, is Scott Danger. As an Eagle Scout himself, Scott realizes the importance of giving back. Scott serves on the Twin Valley Council Board of Directors, having just finished his term as President. He is an assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 29, as well as a merit badge counselor. Scott is also involved in various special events such as Sporting Clays, Adult Pinewood Derby and the Values Event. Congratulations Scott. Very deserving!

District Award of Merit Awards
Each neighborhood nominates a deserving volunteer for the District Award of Merit. The nominations are reviewed by a committee and a recipient is chosen. This is the highest award a district/neighborhood can bestow upon a volunteer.

North Star District Award of Merit Recipient is Brian Cole, Friends of Cedar Point

Of the Year Awards
Twin Valley Council recognizes the volunteers, chosen by their peers, who have dedicated so much to the youth, the units, and to our council. More information to come on each of our outstanding volunteers.
