Klondike 2020 "Gold Rush"

Catch Gold Rush Fever!  Transport yourself back to the days of the Gold Rush, where golden nuggets ruled and survival depended on your wisdom and knowledge.

It's the "Gold Rush" of 2020.  Collect precious gold nuggets as you travel the route of prospectors from days gone by.

All sleds must be inspected prior to opening ceremonies.

Sled list includes the following

• Hatchet
• Pocketknife
• Fire Starter (no Lighters)
• Cooking Pot
• Matches
• Kindling
• 25 Feet of Rope (minimum)
• Bear Bag
• 2 Six Foot Stave
• First Aid Kit (including cravats and gauze pads)
• Blanket
• Padded Splints
• Scout Handbook
• Tarp (suggested size of 20x20)
• Rope for Lashing
• Trash Bag
• Patrol Cheer

Scouts will also have the opportunity to shoot black powder guns.  Please have the appropriate permission forms signed and at camp.

Cost to attend this all day event is $20 per youth and $5 per adult.  Registration is open until Sunday, February 2, 2020.

Lunch is provided.
Troops please invite Arrow of Light Scouts (grade 5).

Please "Be Prepared" to  list number of patrols you will have during registration process.
