Adventure Awaits Just Below the Surface at this ice fishing event!  The fun begins at 10am on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Meet at the Edgewater Park Pavilion (1600 Edagewater Drive) in Albert Lea ready for a day of fun.  Dress warm!  Remember it may be cold, but you do not need to be!  Each person should bring their own fishing gear including bait, *fishing license, snacks, water and chair (optional). 

This is an event designed for fun and is not a contest.  Families are able to come and go as they please.  Hot Cocoa and Coffee will be provided along with a warming tent.  If you need a fishing pole, please indicate so while registering.

This event is open to those Scouting families in Fairbault, Freeborn and Mower counties.  There is no cost to anyone thanks to the sponsorship of VFW Post 1216 in Austin.

Every person on site needs to provide a Health Form parts A/B at time of check in.

Registration is open until Monday, February 6, 2023.  In case of inclement weather, event will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

*Those participants age16 and younger do not need a MN Fishing License as long as they are accompanied by a parent who has one.
