This is the outdoor component of position specific training for scoutmasters and assistance scoutmasters.  It is a great in-person training for leaders to enhance their knowledge in leading troops into the great outdoors.  The course will follow and expand upon national's curriculum.  Adult leaders will be fully trained upon the completion of the online portion of IOLS on my.scouting and this in-person course.

Friday, May 2nd, beginning at 6pm until Saturday, May 3rd at 5pm, leaders will participate in a full range of learning, activities and fun.  This training is being held at Norseland Scout Camp, located near St. Peter.  There is not a cost for Twin Valley Council leaders but you still must register.  Out of Council leaders are more than welcome and have a $40 fee.

Participants will be camping overnight outdoors on Friday as part of the training.  You are more than welcome to stay overnight Saturday, upon conclusion of the class, if you wish.

Please eat before you arrive on Friday night.  Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided.  Please bring a water bottle and any other snacks you wish to have.

Plan on providing your own tent to use along with your own personal gear including a mess kit.
