Event Details

Cubventure "The Great Outdoors" Camp
Saturday, August 10 - Sunday, August 11, 2024
Cedar Point Scout Camp, Fairmont
9am Saturday - 2pm Sunday
$80 per Cub Scout and $20 per Adult
Cub Scouts in grades 1-5 welcome to attend

Join us for over 24 hours of incredible fun!  It's "CUBVENTURE" Camp 2024.

Your weekend will be spent learning all about nature and answering the questions most don't know the answers to!  Questions like "How do leaves breathe?"  "What sound does a quail make?" and the most important "How do I set up my tent?"

This camp is geared to Cub Scouts who will be in grades 1-5 fall of 2024.  Each Cub Scout must be accompanied by a parent (one parent per family is fine).

Families should arrive at Cedar Point Scout Camp, located near Fairmont, by 9am on Saturday morning.  Please eat before you arrive and dress for the weather as Cubventure is held rain or shine!

Cubs and their adult will spend the day traveling through various stations of games, crafts, skills, and more, all focused-on nature.  Those who remember to bring their shooting sports permission forms, will participate at the ranges.

Meals for the weekend, which are furnished, include Saturday lunch, dinner and campfire snack.  Sunday breakfast and lunch are also included.  Everyone should bring a refillable water bottle.

This is a great camp, and you won't want to miss the fun.

Each family should bring the following items...
Health Form AB for each person on camp property
Cub-Scout-Shooting-Sports-Permission-Slip
Tent and Ground Cloth
Sleeping Gear (cots, sleeping bags, pillow, etc.)
Flashlight and Camp Chairs
PJ's and clean clothes
Cub Scout T-shirt
Personal Gear (toothbrush, comb, etc.)
Appropriate clothing for the weather
Bug Spray
