CUB SCOUT SHOOTING SPORTS AND OVERNIGHT CAMP
Friday, May 10, 2019 - Saturday, May 11, 2019
(Overnight camping on Friday night optional)
Cedar Point Scout Camp
$5 per person camping and $15 per youth shooting sports

Join us at Cedar Point Scout Camp, located near Fairmont, on Friday, May 10, 2019,  for a quick, simple, action packed overnight camping experience.  Eat dinner before you arrive at 5:30 p.m., then pitch your tent and set up your lawn chair.  At 7 p.m. there will be games and activities in the main Polaris Lodge.  Following the activities will be a short campfire program and treats around the fire.

Wake up Saturday morning and have breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in the lodge.  Check in at the Shooting Sports registration table at 8 a.m. and spend the morning participating in Archery, BB Guns and Sling Shots.  At 11 a.m. there will be sports and games. 

                                       

To keep with our Cub Scout Summer Camp theme of "FARMS, FIELDS AND FUN" at 11:30 a.m. there will be a planting/agricultural project.  Also, as part of "Farms, Fields and Fun", youth and adults may purchase a Cub Camp T-shirt for an additional $15 charge.  This "Farms, Fields and Fun" shirt will be worn at all Cub Scout summer camps during 2019 including: Shooting Sport events, Cub Scout overnights, Day Camps, Northwoods Webelos Camp, Cuyuna Family Experience, MoonDogs Summer Camp, Cub Scout Resident Camp and Twilight Camp!  Please indicate size during registration process.

At the end of the day, Scouts will have the opportunity to have earned their Shooting Sports Award.  Families will be on their way home by 1 o'clock.

Cost for both portions of this event is $20 per youth and $5 per adult.  If you cannot participate in the overnight, cost is only $15 per Scout for shooting sports and adults attend shooting sports event at no charge.

For those not camping Friday night: please arrive at Cedar Point Scout Camp by 8 a.m. Saturday morning.  Eat breakfast before your arrive and bring a water bottle.  Shooting Sports begin at 8:30 a.m.

All participants in the Shooting Sports must have a signed parental consent.  All people on site must have a Health Form Parts A & B completed and submitted at check-in.

This event is held rain or shine so plan accordingly with rain gear!

Registration is open until May 3, 2019.  After this date you may still attend but must register through Jay Striemer.
