Wilderness First Aid Instructor Training Course
Finding someone to teach a Wilderness First Aid course is quite challenging. Those interested should mark their calendar for training to be held on Friday, May 14, 2021.
When completed, the participants of the course will be able to conduct their own CPR/AED and First Aid classes. After taking a short online course they can bridge over to become a Wilderness First Aid Instructor.
Those interested in this course must be certified in CPR and Wilderness First Aid. This is a blended course which means the train the trainer portion can be taken prior to being certified in CPR or Wilderness First Aid. You can take all three courses this weekend as if needed.
The in person portion of this training will take 12 hours. Class begins at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude at 9:30 p.m. You are welcome to spend the night camping at Norseland for no additional fee. Furnish your own gear. Your fee will cover lunch and dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday.
