CUB SCOUT SHOOTING SPORTS AND OVERNIGHT CAMP
Friday, October 11, 2019 - Saturday, October 12, 2019
Cedar Point Scout Camp
$5 per person camping and $15 per youth shooting sports

(Overnight camping on Friday night optional)

Join us at Cedar Point Scout Camp, located near Fairmont, on Friday, October 11, 2019,  for a quick, simple, action packed overnight camping experience.  Eat dinner before you arrive at 5:30 p.m., then pitch your tent and set up your lawn chair.  At 7 p.m. there will be games and activities in the main Polaris Lodge.  Following the activities will be a short campfire program and treats around the fire.

Wake up Saturday morning and have breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in the lodge.  Check in at the Shooting Sports registration table at 8 a.m. and spend the morning participating in Archery, BB Guns and Sling Shots.  At 11 a.m. there will be sports and games.

At the end of the day, Scouts will have the opportunity to have earned their Shooting Sports Award (see exception below for Lion Scouts).  Families will be on their way home by noon.

*BSA does not allow for Lion Scouts (kindergarten) to participate in BB Gun shooting.  They may however, shoot sling shots and arrows.  Also, the BSA does provide a Shooting Sports Award for Lions.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Cost for both portions of this event is $20 per youth and $5 per adult.  If you cannot participate in the overnight, cost is only $15 per Scout for shooting sports and adults attend shooting sports event at no charge

For those not camping Friday night: please arrive at Cedar Point Scout Camp by 8 a.m. Saturday morning.  Eat breakfast before your arrive and bring a water bottle.  Shooting Sports begin at 8:30 a.m.

All participants in the Shooting Sports must have a signed parental consent.  All people on site must have a Health Form Parts A & B completed and submitted at check-in.

This event is held rain or shine so plan accordingly with rain gear!

Registration is open until October 4, 2019.
