Join us for wine tasting, hor d'oeuvres and music at our inaugural annual wine tasting gala! Proceeds from the event will support our mission to provide urban scouting programs to youth in the Detroit Area.

The Scout Reach program is an impactful partnership between Scouting, community leaders, and at-risk youth serving 3200 young people annually. The program equips young people in embattled neighborhoods with the values, tools, opportunities, and mentors needed to build a brighter future for themselves and their community. Through Scout Reach, community leaders equip young men and women with critical life skills, outdoor adventure, career preparation, a commitment to community service, and a positive outlook to help them be “Prepared. For Life.”

Proceeds from the Scouting Uncorked! are used to support mission critical programs including:

• Weekend Adventure -  A weekend outdoor camping experience offering tent camping, horseback riding, fishing, swimming, archery, and more at the world class D-bar-A Scout Ranch.
• Day Camp – 3–day summer urban day camp experience at Historic Fort Wayne.
• Pinewood Derby – A series of stem-focused activities where youth design, build and race their own wooden cars. The art of design explores physics -kinetic energy.
• Uniforms – A critical symbol of the movement that represents Scouting’s history of service. Uniforms allows Scouts to show that they are equals and that they share values and beliefs.
