Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) STEM Merit Badge Day

Event Details

Our first ever Ojibway District Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) STEM Merit Badge Day is here! This event is for Scouts BSA Scouts ages 14 and older. Face coverings (masks) will be required for all participants.

Scouts will be able to select one of five merit badges to work on during this inaugural event:

            -Environmental Science

            -Astronomy

            -Electronics

            -Engineering

            -Chemistry

These Merit Badge sessions will be conducted in the morning. Pre-requisites for the Merit Badges can be found under the Attachments section. After the break for lunch, Scouts will have a tour of the campus before closing ceremonies.

We will be using the Virtual Blue Card system used at our Summer Camps as well as our other virtual Merit Badge events. Instructions on how to print these can be found in the Attachments Section.

Due to SVSU guidelines, only Scouts 14 years of age or older may participate in this event, and class sizes are limited to 8 Scouts per class.
