NRA course for Range Safety Officer.  Course is held at Gerber Scout Reservation.

Canidates must be 21 years of age. This course is nine hours long and is conducted in a classroom and at a shooting facility. 

Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspection; range rules; range briefings; emergency procedures; and firearm stoppages and malfunctions.

No pre work needed.

Time - Training starts at 8am; done at 5pm

Check in at Gerber Admin Office starts at 7:30am 

Cost - $50 - for just training (arrive between 7:30 & 8am);    $75 if you want to arrive Fri and sleep in a cabin
