What is OKPIK

OKPIK is Inuit for Snowy Owl and is the name of the Boy Scouts of America Cold Weather Camping Training Course. This course is available to all Adult Leaders, older Boy Scouts, and Venturers. This course will teach you how to travel, pack, eat, sleep, and stay comfortable in Michigan’s great season. If you’re a frost bitten veteran or new comer we hope you’ll come learn something from a group of highly experienced trainers.
