Saturday, December 9, 2023, Delta College, 1961 Delta Road, University Center, Michigan 48710. The early bird $35 per Scout fee (if paid by November 15th) must accompany the on-line registration. Fee covers one half day badge, 2 half day badges, or one full day badge and lunch. Enrollment is limited and classes will be filled based on the order of paid completed on-line registrations received! Be sure to print your pre-requisites and begin working on them ASAP if you want to complete the badge(s). Each Scout needs Scoutmaster approval to take merit badges at this event. Please talk with your Scoutmaster before registering.
IMPORTANT INFO- BLUE CARDS- We have implemented the blue card system that is currently being used for all of our Michigan summer camps. Here is the process: Scouts DO need to bring evidence of completion of prerequisite requirements (This can be on a blue card, signed paper or note or the actual required paperwork. They need to present these completed prerequisites to their counselor) Scouts will not be "signed off" by the Merit Badge College counselors on a blue card. We will use the online registration system to produce all completed blue cards and partials for this year's college. How this works:
1. Scout completes the badge (or partially completes)
2. The counselor submits his class roster with all completed Scouts and partials earned to our event coordinator at the close of the December 9 event.
3. Event coordinator inputs data to the registration system (where you signed up your Scout(s) to attend this event) Blue card sheets will be signed by event coordinator.
4. Beginning on December 14, the Unit Leader or parent that registered the Scout(s) for the college, using the registration e-mail confirmation they received when signing up their Scout(s) can go into the registration system and download and print the Blue Card sheets or partial completed sheets for all Scouts from the unit that participated at the December 9th Merit Badge College. These records will always be accessible to the unit leader. A paper copy of each class will be kept on file at the Auburn Michigan Scout Service Center.
Registration and payment must be received on-line by Friday, December 1st, 2023 at 11:59 pm. Changes can be made until Friday, December 1st . Due to maximum number of seats in each class, walk-ins cannot be accepted.
All lunches are included in the registration fee. You are welcome to bring your own lunch, but there is no discount. You can not purchase food at the Delta College Cafeteria. All adults will need to register in order to receive lunch. The lunch specials for 2023 are:
