Webelos/AOL Dens and Troops are invited to the Lakeshore District Haunted Webelos Woods.

Webelos/AOL Dens
Webelos Woods is designed to introduce Webelos to the many outdoor adventures of Scouting. This fantastic weekend event includes patrol-method camping and Scout activities. Webelos Woods is a great opportunity for Webelos Scouts to spend time with and learn from older Scouts, and experience first-hand what's ahead in Scouts BSA.

At the event, Webelos and AOL will have the opportunity to work toward earning Adventures for their rank during the day. Activities at the event will include Fire Building, Cooking, and other Outdoor Skills.

In the evening Weblos and AOL Dens will have the opportunity to explore the Haunted Woods.

Webelos/AOL dens will have the opportunity to visit several troops during the weekend event. By visiting with the different troops, the Webelos/AOLs can get a feeling for the personality of each troop, and which troop may fit them best. Scouts and families will learn about Webelos-to-Scout transition and information to help assist Webelos/AOLs as they make the important decision on which troop to join.

Webelos/AOLs are encouraged to attend this event with their dens. However, individual Scouts can attend this event with their adult partner.

Troops
This event will be a great opportunity to show case your unit and interact with Webelos and AOL dens from across the district.
We would like to have units assist in leading different Webelos Adventures. Troops are also encouraged to show off your unit.

Troops are encouraged to make a display for our Haunted Woods. All Haunted Woods displays need to be Scout appropriate. More details will be coming as we get closer to the event.

The Haunted Woods display will be judged, and awards presented.

Cost for this event will cover program supplies, facility rental, awards and recognition.
